Michael Malmgren

Driver of the Malmgren racing Pontiac Grand AM but is also team manager and President of the European Pro Stock Racers Association. Highly regarded for his skills at both areas. Driving racecars since the early eighties, he is one of Europe’s most experienced drivers. Career high lights are, first non-American to win a national event in USA. First non-American to set a world record in USA, and most memorable; the first European to drive a pro stock car into Holley six-second club. Michael has always-new goals in sight. Michael is 49 years old and married to Maria, also the father of three beautiful girls. When he is not racing Michael sells high quality prefab houses for Myresjöhus, the most popular brand of new houses in Sweden. If he has time then a ride on his Suzuki Mauruder 1600 prepped by Moto Speed that he will always find enjoyable. In winter a couple of weeks skiing in French Alps are high priority.

Tommy Hansen

Tommy Hansen is 41 and lives with his girlfriend and 2 kids, he works mostly on rear end duties and has been with Malmgren racing for many years, he also helps with most duties in the shop between races. Tommy works at DHL solution and in free time pistol shooting is a favourite hobby.

Tomas Jonsson

Has been a faithful team member for 10 years. Tomas is responsible for the Liberty’s but does also handle rear end duties at races. Tomas is also the one that make sure that the Lahega Pro stocker is always nice and shiny. Tomas works at a transportation company outside Helsingborg.

Mike Öhman

Joined the team in -06 as result off great drag racing interest and always coming to Meca raceway to watch. Mikael have high technical skills and his main duty is clutch, but also helps Tomas with the Liberty’s. Mike also drives the rig together with Ingela back and forward too the races. Mikael is running his own construction company. Mikael lives in Malmö with his girlfriend Paula.

Mikael Karlsson

Joined the team in -07 as result off great motor sport interest and when he heard Lahega Racing was looking for some new crew members he offered his knowledge, and his main duty is clutch department. Mike also has a Volvo touring car and is a pure Motor sport fanatic from top to toe. Mike works at Swedish emergency number 112

Emil Lundquist.

Came onboard in -07 when ex team member Jimmy Malm invited him to Meca. Emil has always been very interested in drag racing so when he was offered to join Lahega racing the answer was simple. Emil is now taking over for Jimmy on engine duties, as Jimmy has to step back for family reasons. Emil is also the team computer wizard. Emil lives in Trelleborg with his girlfriend and works for Jimmy doing house construction work.

Ingela Sjöholm

Joined the team in -09 as result as good friend with Tomas.

Ingela is from Gothenburg and work for Volvo doing special truck delivery’s.

Truck driving is my living and when I got the offer to drive the Lahega rig back and forward too the races, I didn’t have too thought long. I love Motor sport and I love driving nice trucks.

Tomas Jonsson

Tomas Jonsson is 37 years old and has been working for Malmgren racing on and off for many years locally at the workshop and his main job is to keep the car nice and clean and shiny between rounds and for shows. Tomas is single and working at a Truck company.

Emil Lundquist

Emil Lundquist is 23 years old and joined the team in 2008, he works for Jimmy Malm, so when Jimmy first invited him to our shop and showed him the operation he said right away- what does it take to be a team member and Jimmy said just hard work and full commitment. Emil serves the team as an overall assistant. Emils main hobby is Car entertainment systems.

Mike Karlsson

Mike Karlsson is 27 years old and joined the team in 2008 and his main duties are the clutch. Mike and owns a Volvo Touring car which is also his favourite hobby, but right now his focus is on learning all about Pro stock clutches. Mike works as a flooring and Tile constructor.

Emma Siversson

Emma Siversson is 26 years old and joined Lahega racing in 2008 as the kitchen chef and also handling hospitality duties. Emma has worked earlier handling this duties in a STCC team and she works as kitchen chef at high school in Ängelholm where she lives with her boyfriend.
